2021/2022 Ladies Summer Season

The ladies summer season starts this Wednesday, December 1st.

Tee off at 8:00am during the summer months.

Greens Maintenance Commencing

The greens will be going through their annual maintenance this week.

• Monday November 29 - Scarifying
• Tuesday November  30 - Coring
• Thursday December 2 - Coring
• Sunday December 5 - Sanding

Please be aware of the work going on and remember that the Greens keepers always have right of way.

20/11/2021 - Hole In One For Michael Formby

Congratulations to Michael Formby for getting his first Hole in One on the 17th hole, It never looked like missing as his playing partners Mike Semple and Dan Adams called it in the air.

2021 Ham and Turkey Day Saturday December 18th

Ham and Turkey Day returns for 2021 on December 18th.

This year it is a 4 person Hambrose event limited to 15 teams, due to catering purposes the numbers are needed by December 11th, so get in quick.

7/11/2021: Weekly Sunday Competition

The mixed individual competition will now be a weekly competition every Sunday starting from November 14.

Open to both Ladies and Men the entry fee is $6 with a shotgun start at 10am.

2021/2022 Cooper's Mild Summer Cup

The Cooper's Mild Summer Cup will be running again during the 2021/2022 Summer Season.

Best 4 of 5 qualifying nett stroke rounds, top 4 play off in handicap match play.

• Round 1 - November 13th
• Round 2 - December 11th
• Round 3 - January 8th
• Round 4 - February 5th
• Round 5 - February 26th
• Semi Finals - March 12th
• The Final - March 19th

If on a Tuesday night the weather forecast for Strathalbyn on the Bureau of Meteorology website for Wednesday is 35°c or above then the tee off time is moved to 9:00am.

We are a small vibrant country golf club set among ancient gum trees in the hills out of Strathalbyn. We are one of the oldest country clubs in the state and always make our visitors feel welcome.

Come and enjoy our 9 hole course with splendid, challenging greens.
