Joy Griffiths brings home the bacon with 45 points and Ladies
Longest Drive while co-captains Graeme Bertholini and Andrew Pavy
ran another very successful event.
With 56 players comprising of 14 groups Graeme Bertholini and Andrew Pavy certainly had their work cut out for them, but they again proved why they are the dynamic duo to organise and run another massively successful event for the Strathalbyn Golf Club.
Thank you to the ladies once again for all the salads and help throughout the day, Jo Pickhaver, Jenny Drury, Kylie Pavy, Liv Smith, Josie Cullen and of course Karen Robson behind the bar.
A big thanks to Des Kelly for his wonderful donation of the big bottles of wine to the ladies.
As mentioned before there were 56 players in 14 groups teeing off between 7:00am and 9:00am with a wonderful ham and turkey lunch with salads provided by the ladies.
Andrew Pavy also had a good day on the course as he scored an Eagle on the par five third hole, the third eagle scored on that very hole in a week.
Graeme Bertholini and Andrew Pavy finished the day thanking everyone for their support throughout the year and are hoping to make 2021 an even bigger and better year for golf.
